Lost Wax Cast Shiny Brass Crab Claw on an Antique Brass Spring Enclosure Keychain with Keyring, Usually Made to Order

$14.00

THE SHELL
The crab claw is a lost wax casting of a real crab claw that was found on Aquidneck Island Rhode Island, USA.

The claw measures, 1" x .5" at it's widest point.

LOST WAX CASTING
The small claw was 3D . Once molded, it was then duplicated by utilizing lost-wax casting process, also called cire-perdue, lost-wax metal casting method of metal casting in which a molten metal is poured into a mold that has been created by means of a wax model.

They are available in brass, bronze, sterling silver and gold. This listing is for antiqued bronze, or shiny or antiqued bronze.

MADE TO ORDER
Sometimes I have finished ones ready to go and other times somewhere in-between and finally there are times where I have to order more from the casting company that does the pouring for me. If you would like to know how long one will take to get to you, please convo me. It can be 3 days to 2 weeks but generally no longer.

The claw is available in brass, bronze, sterling silver and gold. It's available on a necklace or as a key chain. I can do this key chain in sterling silver but it would have a slightly different spring enclosure and would cost more, please convo me if your interested in this. Otherwise, this listing is for one brass key chain.

ANTIQUING
The pure sterling silver and other metals can be darkened with an oxidation treatment and burnished to highlight its features. As you wear it, it will begin to shimmer more from wear, tailor itself to you and and be less black.

If you would like this necklace with no antiquing, choose shiny at checkout, I would be happy to do that for you.

I am going to take better pictures of your options here. I realize that most of the images are of a middle luster brass piece, but as you can see, the brass can be very shiny and so can the bronze. Also with added antiquing, the piece can become full of depth and still have the highlights as shiny as those seen in the "shiny" brass images. I am glad Etsy finally allows more than 5 images of each and I shall fill this particular listing up. If you would like to see how something might look, and your worried, please convo me until I have this message about more pictures coming taken down. :)

Shipping from United States

I am able to ship most items Monday through Friday and if things are busy, Saturday also. Please check your item for how long it's expected to take.

I usually ship USPS 1st Class within the United States and globally I use First Class International. Certain items ship priority or flat rate and for those, it will be indicated within the listing.

All of my packages have tracking and I am willing to add services as long as you pay for them. Convo me for anything you need.

Refunds

Items can be returned if buyer is not happy for any reason within 7 days after receiving item. Buyer to pay return shipping.

In the case of breakage or a lost item, I would choose something as close to possible to what it is you lost or got broken and I will replace the missing item with something of similar to higher value.

Most times, I do need the broken earring to make it a match or the necklace to attach a new clasp. In this case, buyer pays all shipping and small fee for replacement of the parts not to exceed their value.

If something just up's and breaks immediately or due to no fault of your own, I am very happy to correct the situation and I will replace the missing item with something of similar to higher value. I would choose something as close to possible to what it is you lost or got broken. I would rather have my customers pay a couple of dollars to get a handmade pair of earring repaired by me than get upset. I always take care of my customers...

Additional

Trade friendly, local pickup if possible.

I am wholesale interested. Wholesale orders would have to be lost wax castings rather than OOAK sea glass creations. With that being said, I can give better pricing if you decide to buy something in a bulk or have me make something that turns out to be a large order.
