Lost Wax Cast Solid Bronze Duckfoot Oyster Shell on a Brass Chain with an extension that's Tipped with Cobalt Embossed Olive Green Sea Glass

The duckfoot oyster shell is a cast hand-carved copy of a real oyster shell that was found on Island Park Beach, Portsmouth, Rhode Island, USA.

The original oyster shell measures: 1.33" tall x 1.33" wide.

This rare small interesting embossed piece of olive green sea glass is probably from an old wine or big thick old bottle. This piece of sea glass was found ourselves on Aquidneck Island, Rhode island, USA.

The sea glass measures: 1.25" x .75" wide.

The lost-wax casting process is a metal casting method in which a molten metal is poured into a mold that has been created by means of a wax model. The wax model for this oyster was hand carved by myself. I used an actual oyster from a Rhode Island Beach that had nit's own natural hole for a bail as a guide. This was a very fussy carving left rough on purpose so it's extremely close to the actual oyster shape.

The oyster was cast locally here in Rhode Island. If you would like to have the same design cast in sterling silver and brass, gold. Possibly other options too, custom order interest? Convo me!

The nickname for this Oyster is, "I have had it rough!" because of it's beat sea life and it's rough carving after.

Returns and exchange details

Items can be returned if buyer is not happy for any reason and contacts me within 14 days after receiving the item. Buyer to pay return shipping and had 7 more days to get it back to me or the possibility of returning it expires.

In the case of breakage or a lost item: Please pack up your item and mail it back. I will repair or exchange the item. If a fix or replacement are not acceptable a refund will be considered depending on the age of the item. If something just up's and breaks immediately or due to no fault of your own, I am very happy to correct the situation and I will replace the missing item with something of similar to higher value, especially if it's brand new. Of course, your refund will be done straight away but if you have had the earrings a while we need to work together to get the breakage straightened out, see below:

For example if you break your earrings and you love them and wear them all of the time and they are 2 years old... I only ask that you pay a couple of dollars to get them repaired by me than feel upset. I always take care of my customers... Sometimes I need the old earring for matching and sometimes I do not. Shipping from some areas is so expensive that sometimes I have to do it by looking at the picture of the old pair, and I hate doing it but we have to do what we have to do. In this case, buyer pays all shipping and small fee for replacement of the parts not to exceed their value.

Trade friendly, local pickup if possible.

I am wholesale interested. Wholesale orders would have to be lost wax castings rather than OOAK sea glass creations. With that being said, I can give better pricing if you decide to buy something in a bulk or have me make something that turns out to be a large order.
